Brightburn - Kim Waugh (Reece Jones)Gosford H5 1000m – Nov 25 Solid first trial when looking a touch green in her stride. She backed it up with a dominant second trial in very fast time. The daughter of Deep Field looks to have plenty of talent and is ready for the races.

Mercy Me - Nathan Doyle (Ashley Morgan)
Gosford H9 800m – Nov 25
Started $1.85 on debut before pulling up with an issue. Spelled 21 weeks since and returned with two exceptionally strong trials, both under a tight hold with plenty to offer. Ready to return to the races.

Ocean Empress - Jarrod Austin (Olivia Chambers)
Warwick Farm H8 790m – Nov 25
Back-to-back solid trials by this honest 3yo filly. She led them up and kept going under a strong grip. The overall time was very slick, and Jarrod is an astute trainer, especially first-up.

Cinsault - Michael Freedman (Tommy Berry)
Canterbury H8 900m – Dec 2
First prep under the Michael Freedman stable. Back-to-back impressive trials and brings some smart formlines from last prep onto the CV. Looks ready to go first-up after a sharp latest 900m hit-out when beating Way To The Stars. Ready for the races.

Fiaba - Chris Waller (Kerrin McEvoy)
Canterbury H9 900m – Dec 2
Impressive debut trial by this very well-bred 2YO filly. She’s out of the gun mare Pinocchio, who has produced Classique Legend and Aethero. Sat poised on speed with a mature frame, never asked for an effort while rivals were hard ridden to beat her. If let loose, she looked to have plenty to offer.

Firepop - Ryan & Alexiou (Tim Clark)
Canterbury H18 890m – Dec 2
Quiet first trial prior to a much stronger hit-out here in her second trial. Typical setup for the camp and often results in a strong first-up run. Race-ready now and should return in the next week.

Manukau - Michael Freedman (Tommy Berry)
Canterbury H19 890m – Dec 2
Convinced this girl has talent. We saw glimpses of it in her debut prep, now with Michael
Freedman where she can blossom. Ready for the races now off two strong trials.
