Newcastle Oct 9 H1 1200m Harlem Queen (Exposed)

Regal Problem - Lyle Chandler (Ashley Morgan)

Newcastle H3 1000m – Oct 9

Second trial back this prep for the maiden galloper. Ran second on debut behind Hidden Motive before being thrown in the deep end at midweeks second up. After 18 weeks off she looks to have come back in great order. Would love to see the stable find an easy kill fresh.

Defensemen - Chris Waller (James McDonald)

Rosehill H7 900m – Oct 13

Back-to-back quiet trials, but loved her work through the line. Typical Waller profile: educated and saved for race day. She has gears under the hood and looks ready for the races now - James booked on debut reads well.

Ernaux - Chris Waller (James McDonald)

Rosehill H9 900m – Oct 13

Waller has taken his time with this filly and it looks to have paid dividends. She has returned in outstanding order with back-to-back bullish trials, hard on the bridle. Ready to explode first-up.

Artgirl - Chris Waller (Jason Collett)

Rosehill H12 900m – Oct 13

Well-bred filly, half to Robusto out of the smart mare She’s Clean and related to Nettoyer. Very quiet early trials before being given a solid hit-out to win in fast time. Likely to have a second trial before heading to the races.

La Basilique -  Chris Waller (Adam Hyeronimus)

Rosehill H12 900m – Oct 13

Back to back quiet trials overall but have loved this 3yo filly's work through the line. Typical Waller trials overall. She looks to have plenty of gears to give under the hood. Ready for the races now, look for J-Mac to be booked on debut.

Harlem Queen - Nathan Doyle (Ben Osmond)

Newcastle 1 1200m – Oct 9

Always shown a stack of ability - finished fourth in the VRC Oaks behind Treasurethe Moment. Two smart efforts last prep before failing third-up when sent out $2.90 in the Listed Princess Stakes. This was her second trial back and she rocketed home down the outside. She looks up and running at the right time.
