Race by race overview

Race 1

Looks a maiden that could prove a handy form reference in future. The value in the race feels like (3) Beau Strada who was hitting the line strongly last start and at peak fitness now, he hasn’t quite been at his best in his last 2 starts but if he can produce his better form he can go close at double figures. (5) Brass In Pocket was a quick finisher on debut, she can take improvement out of that debut and be threaten late. (6) Gatwick resumes having run into the placings on debut, she maps well and may get run of the race, if given a soft time out in front she could prove tricky to catch. (8) Second Witness looks the best of the runners making their debut and she jumps from barrier 1 which will help on debut

Selections:
(3) Beau Strada
(5) Brass In Pocket
(6) Gatwick
(8) Second Witness

Suggested Bet: (3) Beau Strada Eachway

Race 7

(6) Struggle Street recently won 2 in a row before taking on a stronger race at Sandown last time, she ran well there for 3rd and now drops back down slightly in grade. She maps to push forwards and has a light weight so should prove tough to catch. (9) Bohemian Angel was well supported last start, this is a slight drop in level from that run and she looks better suited at the 1200m trip. (5) Sun Devil was a good winner on debut, he looks well set up jumping from barrier 1 so could take the step up in level with a soft run. (7) Duel Venture was solid when resuming and running 3rd, he map well here today so can settle closer in the run and in a good position.

Selections:
(6) Struggle Street
(9) Bohemian Angel
(5) Sun Devil
(7) Duel Venture

Suggested Bet: (6) Struggle Street Win
