Ethan Brown (Giga Kick): “Pass mark. I think he just felt that track a bit, firming up, so going forward a bit of juice in the track is going to help him.”

Ben Allen (Baraqiel): “Very good, I think he just needed it. Obviously the straight is not his best but he is getting a lot better.”

Jamie Melham (Benedetta): “Gee, she was good. I had no room for about 100 metres but then when she got room she hit the line fantastic. She’ll come on again and go pretty close in the Newmarket.”

Ben Melham (Beiwacht): “The 1000 doesn’t really suit him, he’s looking for seven (furlongs) and a bend.”

Michael Dee (Marhoona): “They were probably just a touch sharp for her. She’ll be better-suited over further.”

Jamie Mott (My Gladiola): “Obviously super proud of her, disappointed though, I thought she was home today. Obviously the winner is a freak and he ran so well in the Coolmore, she was a good second to him. He just seems to have our measure at the moment, so hopefully we don’t meet him again, but a great run.”

Harry Coffey (Military Tycoon): “She ran well, she’s just a little bit off them better sprinters at the moment but in six to 12 months when she’s a bit more of a furnished product she might be OK.”
