This track was produced beautifully. Feel it didn’t hurt to be on speed but was still fair and most horses got their chances.

Race 5 - Another Cashie

I’m lucky enough to have a share in this bloke. He’s related to a couple of handy ones and is still just a big baby who is working it all out. Has won or placed in all four runs to date and gone from a Ballina Maiden to this decent quality three-year-old open race. May even go for a break now but he’s going to be better again next prep without a shadow of a doubt. Got back in this and made a wide run. Winner saved all the ground and got all the favours.

Race 7 - Miss Joelene

Had to give them all weight here. Also got too far back and had to switch back to the inside in the straight. How she’s missed a place is amazing but she is ready to show her best now with that run under her belt.

Race 9 - Foreign Press

There’s just something about this filly I really like. Tried hard the entire straight and strong through the line. Will be better for the run here and feel she can be an upcoming winner at some stage over the next month.
