Date Venue Heat Horse
Dec 11 Scone H1 Sobek
Dec 12 Murwillumbah H1 Brutal Miss
Dec 15 Hawkesbury H9 Steel Will

Sobek - Scott Singleton (Ella Drew)

Scone H1 900m – Dec 11

Back-to-back eye-catching trials by this 3yo gelding. Hope he doesn’t go to HK. The latest was in very slick time as he extended away sharply. From the right stable to win first-up and looks ready to go to the races now.

Brutal Miss - Matthew Dunn (Brandon Lerena)

Murwillumbah H1 1010m – Dec 12

Impressive first trial by this 3yo filly. She showed good tactical speed and from there kept up a strong gallop through the line. Look for a second trial.

Steel Will - Chris Waller (Zac Lloyd)

Hawkesbury H9 800m – Dec 15

Loved this debut trial by this blue-blood colt, a half to Steel City, September Run and Pittsburgh Flyer. He stalked the leader wherever he went before popping off his back and going right on by and through the line. Fastest of the 800m heats too. Keen to see his second trial.
