Race 3:
This is a good betting race. Cool Blaze was excellent last start over 900m at Newcastle when putting away the $1.60 favourite Chisholm with ease. The current price discrepancy is hard to understand, with Cool Blaze at $4.40 versus Chisholm at a much shorter quote. Cool Blaze will land on speed, is peaking fitness-wise and should get every chance. The rise to 1000m is a key positive.
The main danger is Cuesta, who has trialled well. The big query is the 1000m. She likely needs the run here and must overcome a sticky gate.
